New progress


Today I created two things: a new youtube channel and a patreon. The youtube channel is called Theo Scothern and it is where I plan to upload video essays on any topics that interests me. The second thing I created is a patreon by the same name. This hopefully will be a way for me to express my creativity in a healthy way as well as maybe getting me towards a living built on creativity. On top of that I spent roughly five hours writing a three thousand word script for a video essay for the channel. I am very proud about how the channel looks at the moment.

I really hope that some people can enjoy the essays I plan to upload weekly to this channel. I really am going to throw my full self into this in the hopes that it can propel me towards my dream of a living built on my creativity. Hopefully, I am entertaining enough to amass a fan-base large enough to sustain my creativity.

This idea was based on a few ideas I have held in my mind for ages but never reached fruition. Now I have decided that I shouldn't sit on ideas for ages and instead make them immediately, throw my full effort into them. That's partially why I set up the Patreon, as a way to fund my creative endeavours. That's if any one of you are willing to help out of course. From now on I am going to make every new idea immediately instead of lazily sitting on it and I hope you guys enjoy the content I work on. I might not post on this blog for a little bit as I will be filming and editing the Stardew Valley video essay I wrote today but fingers crossed it'll be good.

Video essay finally out

  GTFO Video Essay As I am writing this my first video essay is up on the channel pictured above. After about roughly ten hours of work, including writing filming and editing I have uploaded a video I can be proud of onto the channel. Now this is done I am at a cross roads: either continue with the video essays or start working on a show bible and show pilot for an animated show based on my fiction trilogy: The PEGASUS trilogy. I feel like at the moment I will focus on trying to make the animated show but who knows. If you want to help me out please give my video essay a peep its only 20 minutes after all. Sweet Progress!

  Sweet progress! Okay since I've last talked to you all I've made quite a lot of progress. I've very almost finished the script for a video essay for the video essay Youtube channel I created. I have also messaged another Amazon self published author, and family friend, in the hopes of joining his writer circle. Finally, I am considering entering a writing competition for other people my age.  The real question is why? Where did all of this work ethic and inspiration come from? Sleep. Do not underestimate the importance of sleep my friends. Last night I went to bed at 8pm and woke up feeling myself again. I didn't sleep longer than I normally do as I woke up in the middle of the night for about three hours but I think I was better rested than I have been in a while. It is truly bizarre,  I woke up feeling and acting myself again. Subconsciously I think college was draining me more than I realised, making me somewhat a husk of myself for a little bit because I wasn'...
